Because of your generosity of gifts and donations made to Trinity Alliance, our outreach to many of Albany’s residents and families becomes strengthened and sustained.
It is not hard to make a meaningful impact! Just Be Creative…most of all…Have Fun!
Here are a few ideas to get your started!
Set up a Facebook | Instagram fundraiser on behalf of Trinity Alliance. The great thing about a Facebook fundraiser is that the platform has step-by-step tools and group-making features to launch your campaign. Plus, tagging, hashtags, and other sharing features make it easy for your supporters to share your fundraiser with their family and friends. Encourage sharing and make sure you thank the supporters that do!
A baby photo contest is sure to get more than a few laughs and raise more than a few bucks. It gives everyone a chance to look at one another’s adorable (or embarrassing!) baby photos.
Have supporters supply pictures of themselves when they were kids. Then, other people will vote with their dollars for who they think is the most adorable or funny baby. You can also have individuals pay to guess which person is which in each picture, depending on the size of your group.
Essentially, peer-to-peer fundraising is when supporters set up fundraising pages on behalf of your organization. They then reach out to their personal network of family, friends, and coworkers to ask for donations for Trinity Alliance.
Get your balloon pop fundraiser started by blowing up a couple hundred balloons and filling them with slips of paper redeemable for prizes. These prizes might be a small amount of cash, gift certificates for stores or restaurants in your community, or food items like a can of soda or a cupcake.
Sell each balloon for $5 or $10. Once a supporter has purchased a balloon, have them pop it with a pin to see what they’ve won! Super easy to raise money for Trinity Alliance!
Encourage office employees to let their hair down by participating in Crazy Hair Day. As wacky colors and crazy hair-dos come through the door, everyone will get a kick out of their coworkers’ out-of-the-ordinary looks.
Have employees vote with their dollars on who has the craziest hair. This will not only motivate the employees to go over the top with their styles, but will also allow you to pull in money for Trinity Alliance. Make sure the winner gets a prize.
This simple fundraiser gets employees to tap into their competitive side. Set up a game of musical chairs using office chairs and offer a fantastic prize. Each employee that gets out has to donate a few dollars to Trinity Alliance. Participants can also pay extra to get back in the game and compete for the prize.
After a few rounds, you can pit the champions against each other to compete for a mega prize!
Trinity Alliance is committed to making every dollar count. Your contribution goes a long way to support our mission. Trinity is a federally recognized 501(c) 3 non-profit. Donations are tax deductible.
