Trinity Alliance is proud to host the Albany Bike Rescue at our Trinity Place Center every Tuesday and Thursday.

Who We Are

Albany Bike Rescue (ABR) is a volunteer-run community bike shop that provides everything you need to stay on two wheels. Our tools and maintenance help are free to all, and we sell affordable parts, bicycles and safety equipment. ABR can fix and recycle your old bikes, take in that box of parts you’ve been meaning to get rid of, or help you find a bike you can afford, no matter your financial status. Established in 2013, incorporated in 2016, riding strong ever since.

Open Shop, Tuesdays 530pm-730pm
Fix your bike | Buy bikes and parts | Volunteer
Come fix a bike on your own or with the help of our resident wrenches. Drop-ins welcome. Space is limited, Mask required.

Volunteer Shop, Thursdays 6-8pm
Buy bikes and parts | Volunteer
Thursdays are when volunteers work on bikes that are then sold to support the bike rescue. Fill out a volunteer application along with the membership application and join the fun.  No experience required, though you must complete both applications to stop by on Thursdays. No drop-ins accepted.

(PS: You don’t need bike mechanic skills to become a volunteer. We also need assistance with bike transportation, distribution, web design, social media outreach, special event staffing, and more. If you’d like to help ABR with your skills and time, visit our Volunteer page to get started.)

If you’d like to donate a bicycle, in any condition, please drop off your donation to on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6-8pm at Trinity Alliance Headquarters at 15 Trinity Place in Albany.

ABR also has bikes for SALE!  Stop in and take a look!  You can like ABR on facebook
