National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims
In 2007, Congress designated September 25 as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. The National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims gives us all the opportunity to remember those lost to homicide, and honor their memories. The purpose of this event is to focus on the impact of murder on families, and communities, and ways to support and serve survivors.
Urban Grief will be holding an event in recognition of National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. This is a time for survivors of homicide and community members to gather, remember and share their loved ones, as well as and to connect with one another. We hope you will join us!
This event is open to all. (No open flames allowed. Bring battery candles or phone)
